We handle all kinds of vehicles, those that come on a car carrier, accident/ fudosha, or those that have to be driven by a driver / Jisso.

Export Inspections

AutoQuest Japan arranges export inspection for vehicles at all its yards in Japan. The charges vary depending on the distance from our yard to the various inspection centers.

In Hakata our inspection center is the official certified facility site for JEVIC (Japan Export Vehicle Inspection Center), and EAA (East Africa Automobile) export inspection companies. These companies cover Pre-Shipment Inspections for vehicles bound for Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Zambia.. AutoQuest Japan also arranges inspections for Bureau Veritas, Cotecna, JAAI etc for shipments to Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Mozambique etc. With AutoQuest Japan's one stop shop service, we are confident that exporters who ship to all these countries find it not only cheaper but also more convenient to leave all the procedures to one window. If the vehicle fails inspection then we have access to fully equipped workshops to handle any kind of problems that need to be solved in order to pass the vehicle through the inspection again.

Customs Forwarding

AutoQuest Japan group of companies is a fully licensed and recognized customs forwarder with Japan customs in Kyushu. We require all exporters to send in their documents atleast three days before SO cut off date. This is to ensure smooth customs clearance and also not dropping your vehicles due to delays in documentations etc. Please note that it is the responsibility of the exporter to ensure that the expiry date of the export certificate has not been exceeded at the time of customs clearance.

Our well experienced documents team ensures that the export certificates of the vehicles, invoices and packing lists are with us atleast three days before the ETD of the vessels. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact our documents team.

Freight Forwarder

From 2010 AutoQuest Japan started the NVOCC service and started issuing its own Bills of Ladings. With a network of worldwide agents in all the major ports of Africa, South America, Asia and Middle East, we ensure that the exporters using our House B/L not only get very competitive freight rates, but also excellent service at the destinations for both PCC and Container shipments.

CFS services in Mombasa & Dar-Es-Salaam, container offloading, free storage time etc are some of the few benefits that our customers at some of the ports.

AutoQuest Japan is endeavouring to keep increasing its network of agents all over the world so that we can give standardised service to our customers.

Container Packing

AutoQuest Japan has been specializing in loading vehicles into containers for the last 10 years. It is an area where we are very confident and can guarantee the quality of the loadings at the cheapest price in the market. We consider this to be one of our greatest strengths. At present we are loading approximately 300 to 500 containers a month from our various yards in Japan.

Depending on the destinations we also do special loading using iron bridges and angle racks.

Some of the loadings styles in a 40 foot container include:

• Five units of Corolla, Carina, etc.
• Six units of March, Vitz, Golf.
• Two trucks and two SUV.
• Two 4ton trucks with a Rav 4/Corolla Van, dismantling and cutting are involved.
• Hiace with three sedans/ Two Hiaces with one truck.
• Coaster/Rosa Bus with two sedans or one long Hiace.
• Seven K trucks in a container for USA.

The destinations to which we frequently send vehicles for our customers are Dubai, Durban, Mombasa, Dar-Es-Salaam, Caucedo, Mongolia, Krygystan, Kazakhistan, Namibia, Angola, Maputo, Chile, Peru, USA.

Once we have your list of vehicles our specialists will suggest the best loading combination that will save you money on freight and ensure that your vehicles reach your destinations safely.

Due to the volumes of containers that we handle, the shipping companies give us freight discounts and preference in booking space on ships. Our customer's benefit by availing of these discounted freight rates and it ensures that they remain competitive in their business dealings.

PCC / RORO

AutoQuest Japan is one of the leaders in Japan, in providing competitive rates to Exporters of used Japanese vehicles, for PCC/RORO shipments to different parts of the world. At present we use all the major shipping lines that call Japan ports to book vehicles for shipments to Africa, Middle East, South America, Europe and Carribbean.

AutoQuest Japan has recently entered ship chartering and occasionally charters its own ships in order to ensure that the exporters get regular shipments of their vehicles at competitive prices.

With our own House B/L and NVOCC services we have ensured that the exporters get free storage and CFS yard services at some ports.
